This HIPAA-Safe Medical Disclaimer (“Disclaimer”) applies to all services provided by ReconX Pro (“ReconX,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) to medical offices, professional practices, and healthcare-related environments.

1. No Healthcare Services Provided

ReconX Pro is not a healthcare provider, medical service provider, or covered entity under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (“HIPAA”).

ReconX Pro does not provide:

• Medical treatment

• Clinical services

• Patient care

• Medical advice

Our services are limited strictly to physical security systems, technology, and advisory services.

2. No Access to Protected Health Information (PHI)

ReconX Pro does not request, access, collect, store, transmit, or process Protected Health Information (PHI) as defined by HIPAA.

Our services are designed and implemented to avoid:

• Patient records

• Medical charts

• Electronic Health Records (EHR)

• Billing or insurance data

• Any form of identifiable patient information

3. Physical Security Scope Only

Services provided in medical or professional office environments are limited to:

• Physical security audits and walk-throughs

• Security camera system design and installation

• Access control systems for entry points and staff-only areas

• Security system assessments and recommendations

ReconX Pro does not install or configure cameras in treatment rooms, examination rooms, imaging areas, or any location where patient privacy may reasonably be expected unless explicitly requested and approved by the client in writing and permitted by applicable law.

4. Client Responsibility for HIPAA Compliance

Clients remain solely responsible for:

• HIPAA compliance

• Privacy policies and procedures

• Patient data protection

• Staff training and enforcement

ReconX Pro does not provide HIPAA compliance consulting, certification, or legal guidance.

5. Camera Placement and Privacy Considerations

All camera placement recommendations are made with consideration for privacy and operational use. Final decisions regarding placement, activation, and usage of security systems rest solely with the client.

ReconX Pro shall not be responsible for:

• Improper camera use

• Privacy violations resulting from client decisions

• Non-compliant camera placement directed by the client

6. No Business Associate Relationship

ReconX Pro does not act as a Business Associate as defined under HIPAA and does not enter into Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) unless explicitly agreed to in writing.

7. Limitation of Liability

ReconX Pro shall not be liable for:

• HIPAA violations

• Regulatory penalties

• Privacy complaints

• Improper handling of patient information by the client

Any liability arising from HIPAA or healthcare privacy obligations remains solely with the client.

8. Acceptance of Disclaimer

By engaging ReconX Pro’s services in a medical or professional office environment, the client acknowledges that:

• ReconX Pro is not responsible for HIPAA compliance

• Services are limited to physical security systems

• Client retains full responsibility for patient privacy and regulatory compliance
